Thanks to our GSIA for hosting "Java with the Jungle". GSIA had a coffee bar for parents of kindergarten students. Kindergarten started their day on the playground and parents got to meet each other. Happy to report that all parents followed playground rules: take turns, be kind, and do not push anyone off the slide or swings. :)

Please support our GSIA's fundraiser "Pencils and Parking" during Open House.
Thanks to Ranger Park Marty Silvers: He visited with third and second grade classes. They learned about habitats, animals, and Warriors Path State Park!!

Please see information about yearbook purchases.
Start planning now for Read Across America week! We want our students to see and know how much fun reading can be!

We hope you can join us for this kick-off for Read Across America Week!

We want to thank the Greeneville Fire Chief, Emma Light from GHS and our very own Sunjay Moore for the excellent fire prevention program last week!

This is a reminder that there will be no school for students tomorrow, November 5, 2024, as some of our schools will be serving as polling locations for the election. We look forward to welcoming our students back on Wednesday, November 6.

Due to the longer break, we have changed the date of our "Swamped!" music program featuring our second and third graders.
It will be on Tuesday, October 29th, at 5:30pm in the Hal Henard gym. If you have any questions, please reach out to Miss Woody through Class Dojo.
Greeneville City Schools’ staff will return on Monday, October 14, 2024, for a day of professional development with students returning to school on a regular schedule on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Plans are in place, according to the health department guidelines for food service establishments, for the school cafeterias to safely provide breakfast and lunch each day. We will also provide bottled water to students each day until the boil water notice is lifted. In coordination with the Greene County EMA, there is a contingency plan to provide bottled water for an extended period of time should the boil water notice persist. If parents wish to send additional water for their students, please make sure the bottles are sealed and do not leak. We look forward to resuming normal operations and seeing the return of our amazing students and staff.
