Thanks to our GSIA for hosting "Java with the Jungle". GSIA had a coffee bar for parents of kindergarten students. Kindergarten started their day on the playground and parents got to meet each other. Happy to report that all parents followed playground rules: take turns, be kind, and do not push anyone off the slide or swings. :)

Greeneville City Schools’ staff will return on Monday, October 14, 2024, for a day of professional development with students returning to school on a regular schedule on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Plans are in place, according to the health department guidelines for food service establishments, for the school cafeterias to safely provide breakfast and lunch each day. We will also provide bottled water to students each day until the boil water notice is lifted. In coordination with the Greene County EMA, there is a contingency plan to provide bottled water for an extended period of time should the boil water notice persist. If parents wish to send additional water for their students, please make sure the bottles are sealed and do not leak. We look forward to resuming normal operations and seeing the return of our amazing students and staff.

To assess the specific needs of our students and provide the necessary assistance, we have created a brief survey. We kindly ask parents, students, and staff to take a few moments to complete it. Your feedback will help us identify any immediate needs, whether they be related to academics, emotional support, transportation, or other resources. https://forms.microsoft.com/r/euHpGDeLev
