Please help us congratulate Mr. Myers, our 5th grade science and social studies teacher for being selected by his fellow teachers as our Teacher of the Year! Mr. Myers makes learning fun, but he also has the biggest heart for our Eagles and his coworkers. He makes all of us better! Thank you, Mr. Myers, for being AWESOME!
Congratulations to two of our fifth graders, Ruthie and Reagan ! They have been selected to sing in the Tennessee All-State Treble Honor Choir!
This choir is made up of 5th and 6th graders from all across the state. This process has already taken a lot of hard work, time, and dedication. They learned their audition song, "pre-auditioned" with Ms. Woody then recorded their official auditions. This is an especially exciting accomplishment because this is the FIRST TIME EVER that Greeneville City Schools has had students selected for this specific honor!

3rd grade had a blast at the Johnson City Railroad Experience today tracking live trains around the area, investigating interactive train models, and building bridges to support the weight of a train!

These amazing first graders were given a problem. As engineers, their job was to solve it! They gathered materials, made a plan and design, and worked together to build a bridge for a car to drive across! 🚗
We all felt safe at Hal Henard on Friday for kindergarten career day with all the future policemen/policewomen. Thank you Officer Cindy for being a positive role model for our students and for keeping us all safe. We appreciate you!
Our 3rd grade scientists investigated the structures and functions of plants by doing a flower dissection last week!
