All students who have chosen Traditional Learning will continue the Hybrid Schedule Monday, Feb 1st through Friday, February 19th. All safety protocols will remain in effect as outlined in the Greeneville City Schools Plan: Framework for Safe Reopening of Schools.
Students who have chosen the EDGE Learning Program will continue with fully online instruction.

As the pandemic conditions within our community and schools continues to evolve, it may become necessary to alter the operating schedule for a classroom, a grade level, a school, or the district. These decisions will be made after evaluating Greene County COVID-19 data and consulting with the local and regional health departments.
During the week of Thanksgiving, “A” Group students will attend in-person on Monday and will be virtual on Tuesday. “B” Group students will be virtual on Monday and in-person on Tuesday. Schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday for the Thanksgiving holidays. A decision will be announced on Tuesday, November 24th by 6 p.m. about the schedule for the week of November 30th through December 4th.
The health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff along with community conditions will continue to drive our decisions. Greeneville City Schools appreciates your continued support.
The district will continue to have meal distribution/pickup available at Greeneville High School and Hal Henard Elementary.
Effective Monday, September 28th, all students who have chosen in-person learning will begin operating on an A/B Hybrid Schedule. Students will be divided into an “A” group and a “B” group. Individual schools will send a notification on Monday, Sept 14th alerting parents/guardians of the group to which students are assigned.
Students assigned to the “A” group will attend school in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays. Students assigned to the “B” group will attend school in-person on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students will continue to complete assignments and watch teacher posted videos online on days in which they are not scheduled to attend in-person.
Students and staff will follow the safety protocols outlined within our GCS Framework for Safe Reopening of Schools.
Given the current conditions within our community, we believe this plan provides the safest environment for students and staff while providing a quality educational experience. As a reminder, throughout the year plans may be altered for the safety of students and staff. Over 300 students received a “cooking kit” with ingredients, measuring cups, and an apron to take home. Students cooked their own version of Stone Soup with their family. Families are encouraged to create media as they cook and post it to our Facebook public group: Eagles SOAR at Home.
